On Saturday evening we had a dark adult Rough-legged Hawk at Reservoir Ridge Natural Area along with a Prairie Falcon. Both birds seemed to be in hunting mode. This natural area is mostly grassland, wet meadows and foothill shrubland habitat and is where we have breeding Bobolinks in the summer.
