Hi folks,

I spent the afternoon wandering the old “Bonny Lake State Park”. I haven’t been
out there in several years. I found 3 Northern Cardinals, 1 female, 2 males,
all hanging together in the large, dense hedge about a mile in on CR 3. Very
skittish and shy, but lovely!

I also had Cedar Waxwings, tons of Robins, a few White-breasted Nuthatches, 4
Red-bellied Woodpeckers ( south side) as highlights. I’ll post my complete list
on eBird tomorrow. I posted pics on the Facebook group Birding Colorado as well
as CFO’s Facebook Group.
