Birders,
Ranger Karl Manderbach just informed me that when the main parking lot at
Bobcat Ridge Natural Area is closed, parking to see the woodcock is limited to
just a few spaces between the old corral and the south side of his
office/residence. Sometimes his City of FC vehicle is parked in this area,
sometimes he is on patrol. So, contrary to my recent post, do NOT park along
the main roads leading in from CR27 or the one that goes north from the Bobcat
Ridge NA parking lot to private residences to the north. If the few spaces
described above are full, then maybe come back at a different time or day.
Thank you for your cooperation with these requests/rules.
