Hello, Birders. The announcement (we used to call it the "brochure") for
the CFO Convention in Lamar, Prowers County, May 5-9, 2016 is available
online:

Please note that *this is not the online registration form!* We expect to
have that up and running by the beginning of March. Neither is this the
call for papers for the science session. That will be going out in the next
week or so.

For now, alls you need to do is block out May 5-9 on your calendars. The
convention will be fantastic. For one thing, *we intend to document
Colorado's 500th bird species during the convention...* :-)

Seriously, the birding will be excellent. And there's so much more to the
CFO convention experience than the birding: workshops, panels, quizzes, the
science session, the banquet and keynote, welcome picnic, opportunities for
students, and much more. Oh, and the most wondrous thing of all: the
opportunity to spend three or four days with 200 or so of the nicest
birders in Colorado. See you in Lamar!

Lafayette, Boulder County

P.s. Thanks to David Gillilan and Ann Johnson for major assistance in
creating the convention announcement.
