One male Red-breasted Merganser swimming with 12 Common Mergansers in the
fog at Stearns Lake was spotted by Ruth Carol Cushman and myself between
9:30 and 11:00 this morning.

Mallards, No. Shovelers, one Bufflehead, and one Common Goldeneye rounded
out the rest of the ducks amidst many White-cheeked Geese.

Both Bald Eagles were sitting by their nest.
