All, I saw the male Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (first reported by Christian Nunes) in Lyons this morning at about 8:30. It was really quite a ways south of the southwest corner of Bohn Park about 1/4 mile south of St Vrain Creek. It was in a group of pine trees (with many Sapsucker wells) that are in a private paddock. This is immediately west of the south end of a long line of large concrete blocks.
