Reservoir Road Trip with David Dowell Saturday, April 23 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (rain/snow date, April 24) Free, limited to 11 people in 3 cars; you absolutely must carpool! Reservations: [email protected] David will lead this group to bodies of water in Morgan and Weld Counties. You will visit Jackson and Lower Latham Reservoirs as well as Beebe Draw. There should be a tremendous variety of species as this is the perfect month for the overlap of resident and wintering land birds including interesting gull species, migrating waterfowl, shorebirds and winter sparrows. You should also find early arriving passerine migrants. Meet at the Niwot Park and Ride in the middle of the Diagonal promptly at 6 a.m. Pack clothing appropriate for mixed conditions, water, snacks, lunch and scopes. Carpooling is a necessity due to some areas of very limited parking. Questions about the trip?
