1. The Apr. 7 deadline for early registration is fast approaching. Get started by checking out the convention's general information page <http://cobirds.org/CFO/Conventions/Next.aspx>, and then go to the detailed descriptions of the field trips <http://cobirds.org/CFO/Conventions/Trips.aspx?id=54>, including leaders, participants, driving directions, and more. 2. The deadline to submit an abstract for the convention's science session is likewise fast approaching: Apr. 8. If you are interested in presenting, please consult the online Call for Papers <http://tinyurl.com/CFO-2016-science>. The science session is one of the major highlights of the convention; held on Saturday afternoon, it is open to all convention registrants. 3. This evocative painting appears on the commemorative t-shirt, brochures, and other convention items.
