Just after midnight last night, I gazed out my front door, hoping to see on my lawn the bird that would be the first for my Denver County April List.
And there it was! A beautiful, male unVaried Thrush, T. migratorius. This is probably not the same individual that has been seen in a neighborhood near Cherry Creek recently, but it's in the same genus. How lucky can I get?
