I birded by bike Island Grover Park to 71st Avenue yesterday (7.7m one-way; 
15.4m r/t) and got 45 total species to include:

Spring highlights:

   - Female Bullock's Oriole
   - Yellow-rumped Warbler
   - Pied-billed Grebe
   - Horned Grebe - 15
   - Double-crested Cormorant
   - Brown-headed Cowbird
   - Common Grackle
   - Osprey
   - Mourning Dove
   - Killdeer
   - Mute Swan (Fst Street)
   - American White Pelican
   - Blue-winged Teal

Rest:  Rock Pigeon, Eurasian-collared Dove, House Sparrow, Red-winged 
Blackbird, Western Meadowlark, American Robin, European Starling, House 
Finch, Northern Flicker, Black-billed Magpie, White-crowned Sparrow, 
Red-tailed Hawk, Canada Goose, Song Sparrow, Mallard, Gadwall, American 
Wigeon, Great Blue Heron, American Goldfinch, American Kestrel, Ring-billed 
Gull, Bluejay, Northern Shoveler, American Crow, Belted Kingfisher, 
Green-winged Teal, Bufflehead, Lesser Scaup, Common Merganser, Black-capped 
Chickadee, Great Horned Owl, and Dark-eyed Junco.


Other weekend sightings:

   - Burrowing Owl - 1 (Weld CR 33) arrived last week
   - Cooper's Hawk (Nunn Yard) Sun.
   - Sandhill Crane - 5 (Wellington SWA) Sun.; 3 Sat. in Weld CR 48 marsh 
   on north calling
   - Gadwall and Greater Yellowlegs at "Nunn Pond" (Hwy 85/Weld CR 100 NW)
   - American Avocet (Crom Lake) Sat.
   - Franklin's Gull, Sora (Weld CR 48) Sat.
