The Vermilion flycatcher was still present around noon today at Belmar. It
was found on the south side of the lake, right next to the lake were the
trail splits and goes south, working the tress. The Nashville Warbler was
present along the west side of the park. This area is the spot close to the
houses and the west trail parallels the horse path. The horse path here
runs along a small marsh pond with a lot of cattails. The bird was working
the tress at the top of the canopy. There was also a Hermit Thrush heard in
this area, somewhere in the pine trees but I could not find it. Here is a
my ebird checklist, with a photo of the flycatcher but no photo the
warbler, it was to obscured for a photo.
