COBirders,

While reviewing my photos this afternoon from my trip yesterday to the Pawnee
National Grasslands in Weld County, I remembered an odd meadowlark that I
photographed because of the way it looked and sounded. I thought at the time
that it was likely an eastern. I sent the photos to Tony Leukering and Steve
Mlodinow who both agree that it is an Eastern Meadowlark. I saw this bird on
Weld Rd. 104 just east of 57. I can find only one accepted record in Weld
County in the CBRC records. I will be submitting documentation.
