Chico Basin Ranch was very birding today, with the best bird being a
Blue-winged Warbler at the banding station (El Paso Co.). I first saw the
bird while watching a male Orchard Oriole; I have a few shots with the
warbler and oriole in the same shot. The bird was working the shorter trees
(elms?) in the grove, and I understand several others including the Cornell
big day team were able to refind the bird later in the day.
