After a long morning of birding Weld County my wife and I decided to visit
Barr Lake to see the Barn Owls, (we did), on our way back to the visitor
Center we happened upon a small group of birders looking at a Vireo in the
trees by the shore, looked with them and found a foraging Red-eyed Vireo
about 30 feet above the path. nice look at the stripe on his face and then
he turned into the sunlight and there it was a definite red -eye.
