Tom and Mary France went to Lory State Park near Bellevue, CO, this morning. We stopped at the Timber Trail/Waterfall Trail and Tom found a Golden-winged Warbler around 10 AM. It was in the shrubs at eye level north of the restroom and west of the parking lot. He did get a bad picture of it but it is identifiable. It flew before he could get a better picture.

We stopped by the same area later and no trace of it was found.

Last year a Golden-winged Warbler was in Lion's Open Space Area in Bellvue. If you're bird watching anywhere in that area, be on the lookout. Beautiful Bird!
