I hiked up to the Little Thompson overlook on Rabbit Mountain (north of Lyons in Boulder County) Sunday and Yellow Breasted Chats were everywhere! We had two displaying and others in the scrub doing their chattering and squawking.
The wildflowers up there are spectacular this year as well. Penstemons, vetches, galardia, Sticky Geranium, Ground Cherry, and yuccas putting up tall buds.
