---On May 25 a Red-headed Woodpecker was reported by Zach Schiff at Gateway
Trail.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
---On May 28 a Whimbrel was found by Gene Rutherford and reported by Glenn
Walbek at swim beach at Cherry Creek SP.
---On May 18 a White-eyed Vireo was reported by Jared Del Rosso on the High
Line Canal Trail in deKoevend Park.  The Vireo was also seen by Jessi
Oberbeck and Dean Shoup.  On May 19, Jaredl Del Rosso, Bob Shade, Glenn
Walbek, Rebecca Laroche, Time Ryan, Dough Kibbe, and Gwen Moore reported
White-eyed Vireo at deKoevend Park.  On May 20, Jared Del Rosso and Jeff
Dawson reported White-eyed Vireo at deKoevend Park.  On May 21 the
White-eyed Vireo was reported by Tom Behnfield and many others at deKoevend
Park.  On May 22 Jared Del Rosso and Bob Spencer reported White-eyed Vireo
at deKoevend Park.  On May 24, Jared Del Rosso reported White-eyed Vireo at
deKoevend Park.  On May 25, the White-eyed Vireo was reported by Jared Del
Rosso and Eric DeFonso at deKoevend Park.  On May 26, the White-eyed Vireo
was reported by Scott Somershoe at deKoevend Park.  On May 27 Jared Del
Rosso reported White-eyed Vireo at deKoevend Park.  On May 28 Jared Del
Rosso and Bob Andrews reported White-eyed Vireo at deKoevend Park.  On May
29 Jared Del 0Rosso and Matt Rodger reported White-eyed Vireo at deKoevend
Park.  On May 30 Michael and Diana King reported White-eyed Vireo at
deKoevend Park.

ARCHULETA COUNTY:
---On May 25 an American Bittern was reported by Ben Bailey at Sambrito SP.
  This is a county record for Archuleta.  Interesting
they had a Least Bittern but not American Bittern on the County List.

BENT COUNTY:
---On May 29 at John Martin Reservoir, Ira Sanders reported an ad Laughing
Gull and 3 Snowy Plovers.
---On May 27 an ad m Chestnut-sided Warbler and singing Yellow-throated
Vireo and 2-3 Red-headed Woodpeckers were reported by Dave Leatherman at
Van's Grove

BOULDER COUNTY:
---On May 31 a Fox Sparrow was reported by Cole Wolf and Nathan Senner in
the Ward area.
---On May 28 a Nashville Warbler was reported by Peter Burke on Old St
Vrain Road in Lyons east of horse stable.
---On May 26 Bill Fink reported that Bobolinks were back by open space
headquarters on Cherryvale south of South Boulder Road.  On May 28, 2 m
Bobolinks were reported by Robin Byers and Bob Fiehweg N of trailhead
parking area along driveway to open space office on Cherryvale Rd.  Robin
reported that you probably would not be able to see the Bobolinks on
Cherryvale Road.
---On May 18 a Black Phoebe was reported by Bob Spencer and Art Reisman at
75th and Boulder Creek.  On May 22, a Black Phoebe was reported by Nick
Moore and Pablo Quezada at 75th and Boulder Creek.  On May 27 a Black
Phoebe was reported by David Ely at 75th and Boulder Creek.

BROOMFIELD COUNTY:
---on May 27 a Cassin's Kingbird was reported by Matt Hofeditz at W 134th
Place.

CLEAR CREEK COUNTY:
---On May 25 a White-eyed Vireo was reported by Georgia Doyle at West
Chicago Creek CG.  From Idaho Springs take Hwy 103 (road to Mt Evans and
then west on W Chicago Creek Road.

DELTA COUNTY:
---On May 25 a Scarlet Tanager was reported by Andrea Robinsong at her
feeders in Hotchkiss.  Birders are welcome.  Contact her at arobinsong AT
paonia.com for directions and updates.  On May 27 Jason Beason reported m
Scarlet Tanager at home of Andrea Robinsong.

DENVER COUNTY:
---On May 30 a Northern Waterthrush was reported by Linda Broeren at Bluff
Lake Nature Center.
---On May 27 a Red-headed Woodpecker was reported by tom Behnfield at Bear
Creek Park.

EL PASO COUNTY:
---On May 31 at W end of Hanowver Road, Scott Somershoe reported m
Ladder-backed Woodpecker and Curve-billed Thrasher.
---On May 31 a Gray Flycatcher was reported by Cici Lee at Ramah Reservoir.
---On May 30, a Bobolink was reported by John Drummond on Shumway Road in
Fountain.  On May 31, 3 m Bobolinks were reported by Steve Getty on Shumway
Road.
---On May 30, 2 Red-headed Woodpeckers were reported by Brandon Percival
and several other birders at Chico Basin Ranch.
---On May 29 2 Curve-billed Thrashers and a Chestnut-sided Warbler were
reported by Nena and Dean Shoup at Chico Basin Ranch.
---On May 26 a basic plumaged Pacific Loon was reported by Mark Peterson at
Big Johnson.  On May 27 Aaron Driscoll, and Kyle and Caleb Hawley reported
Pacific Loon at Big Johnson.  On May 28 the Pacific Loon was reported by
Mel Goff and several other birders at Big Johnson.  On May 29 a Pacific
Loon was reported at Big Johnson by David Chartier, Chris Brobin, John
Drummond, and Bill Kaempfer.  On May 30 a Pacific Loon was reported by
Tanja Britton at Big Johnson.  On May 31, Alan Versaw reported Pacific Loon
and Cassin's Kingbird at Big Johnson.
---On May 26 Steve Brown banded a 2nd year ALDER FLYCATCHER at Clear Spring
Ranch.

GILPIN COUNTY:
---On May 25, 10 Black-chinned Hummingbirds were reported by Penny Bauer on
Upper Apex Road from the cemetery above Central City to Lower Apex Road.
This is a county record.

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
---On May 30 a singing MOURNING WARBLER was reported by Urling Kingery in
Waterton Canyon about .5 mile upstream from parking lot.
---On May 30 an Ovenbird and Black-and-white Warbler and Bobolink were
reported by Gabriel Wiltse in Waterton Canyon upstream from overhead pipes.
---On May 28, 3 m Bobolinks were reported by David Ross in an unmowed filed
SE of Apex Center, Aaron Shipe reported 2 Bobolink at Apex, and Mark Chavez
reported 2 Bobolink at Ralston Valley Park.  On May 30 Norm Lewis reported
a Bobolink at Apex Park and Chip Clouse reported a pair of Bobolinks at
Apex Park.  On May 31, Bobolinks were reported near the Apex Center by Chip
Clouse, Pablo Quezada, Craig Rasmussen, Matt Clark, and Susan Bonfiglio.
---On May 27 a Least Flycatcher and Nashville Warbler were reported by Mark
Chavez at Bear Creek Lake Park at Soda Lake.
---On May 26 a Greater Roadrunner was reported by Thomas Ryon on tertiary
Trail in South Table Mountain Park.
---On May 28 a Least Flycatcher was banded by Meredith McBurney at
Chatfield Banding Station.

KIT CARSON COUNTY:
---On May 28 at Flager Reservoir SWA, Brandon Percival reported a singing
Golden-winged Warbler below the dam and hear ALDER FLYCATCHER.

LA PLATA COUNTY:
---On May 30, 3 Acorn Woodpeckers were reported by Maikel and Susan Wise at
Meadow Road at Rafter J Subdivision.
---On May 30 Heather and Riley Morris reported Gray Flycatcher, 2
Black-throated Sparrows and 5 Sagebrush Sparrows on CR 136 from Rd 128 to
Hwy 140.  On May 31 Jason St Pierre reported Cassin's Kingbird, 2 Bewick's
Wrens, Black-throated Sparrow and 5 Sagebrush Sparrows on CR 136 from Rd
128 to Hwy 140.
---On May 30 Heather and Riley Morris reported 3 Cassin's Kingbirds and
Bewick's Wren on CR 134 from CR 136 to CR 135.
---On May 29 a Cassin's Kingbird was reported by Susan Allerton at
Pastorius Reservoir.
---On May 27, a Cassin's Kingbird was reported by Maikel and Susan Wise on
CR 136 from CR 128 to Hwy 140.
---On May 27 a Yellow-throated Vireo was repoerted by Adrian Johnson at
Pastorius Reservoir.
---On May 26, 2 Cassin's Kingbirds were reported by Amanda St. Pierre on CR
215 south of Zink's Pond.

LARIMER COUNTY:
---On May 30, 8 McCown's Longspurs were reported by Austin Hess on CR 5
from CR 82 to CR 92.
---On May 29 a Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Dave Leatherman in a
backyard east of Grandview Cemetery in Fort Collins.
---On May 29 a singing Bell's Vireo was reported by Joe Mammoser about 1/4
mile south of Swim Beach at Boyd Lake SP.
---On May 28 a singing ALDER FLYCATCHER was reported by Cole Wild and Irene
Fortune at Boyd Lake SP swim beach spit.
---On May 26, 2 Cassin's Kingbirds were reported by Arvin Panjabi at
Horsetooth Mountain Park in Fort Collins.
---On May 26 a Golden-winged Warbler was reported by Tom and Mary France at
Lory SP in Bellevue.  They were at the timber Trail/Waterfall Trail.  The
bird was in scrubs N of restroom and W of Parking lot.

LOGAN COUNTY:
---On May 30 at Tamarack Ranch SWA, Brian Johnson reported Great Crested
Flycatcher and 3 Red-headed Woodpeckers.
---On May 29 at Tamarack Ranch SWA, Austin Hess reported 8 Red-headed
Woodpeckers, Great Crested Flycatcher, 2 Bell's Vireo Bewick's Wren,
Northern Parula, 2 Northern Cardinals, 3 Baltimore Orioles.
---On May 27 a Blackpoll Warbler was reported by David Dowell in Sterling.

MONTEZUMA COUNTY:
---On May 30 at Yellowjacket Canyon/ G road area, Susan and Maikel Wise
reported 4 Lucy's Warblers, 2 Bewick's Wrens, and 2 Black-throated Sparrows.
---On May 24 at Mesa Verde NP on Knife Edge Trail, 2 Chukar were repoerted
by Jonah Gula.  On May 26 Susan and Maikel Wise reported 4 Chukar at Mesa
Verde NP on Knife Edge Trail.

MONTROSE COUNTY:
---On May 23 a f LESSER NIGHTHAWK was reported by Coen Dexter at Nucla
Sewer Lagoons.  On May 27 several f LESSER NIGHTHAWKS were seen at the
Nucla Sewer Lagoons by Coen Dexter.  On May 30 Coen Dexter reported that
the LESSER NIGHTHAWKS continue to put on a show at the Nucla Sewer Lagoons.
---On May 23 a NEOTROPIC CORMORANT was reported by Coen Dexter by a small
pond on south side of Apollo Road near Holly Park in Montrose.  On May 24 a
NEOTROPIC CORMORANT was reported by Jon Horn at Ute/Holly Park in
Montrose.  On May 26 a NEOTROPIC CORMORANT was reported by Betty Fenton at
2104 S Rio Grande Ave in Montrose.  On May 28 a NEOTROPIC CORMORANT was
reported by Gwen Moore and Jane Zongker at Ute Park.  On May 28 a NEOTROPIC
CORMORANT was reported by Nicola Zwascka at Riverbottom Park in Montrose.

OTERO COUNTY:
---On May 30 in Vogel Canyon Bill Kaempfer reported 2 Bewick's Wrens.

---On May 29 an Upland Sandpiper was reported by Steve Mlodionw at Rocky
Ford SWA, Ryan's Ponds.
---On May 29 at Holbrook Reservoir, Bill Kaempfer reported 3 White-rumped
Sandpipers and 4 Snowy Plovers.

PARK COUNTY:
---On May 26, 2 ARCTIC TERNS were reported by Steve Mlodinow  on a pond on
CR 34, 4.3 Miles from Hwy 285.

PHILLIPS COUNTY:
---On May 28 at Holyoke, David Dowell reported 2 Broad-winged Hawks and a
Baltimore Oriole.

PROWERS COUNTY:
---On May 28 at Thurston Reservoir, Kevin Welsh reported ad Laughing Gull
and Least Flycatcher.

PUEBLO COUNTY:
---On May 28 a Green Heron was reported by Norm Lewis at Chico Basin Ranch
headquarters area.
---On May 26 a MOURNING WARBLER was reported by Van Truen at 19th and Court
in Pueblo.  He heard it in low shrubs.
---On May 26 at Chico Basin ranch, Gary Koehn reported 2 Curved-billed
Thrashers, Magnolia Warbler, and Bobolink by alfalfa field.

RIO GRANDE COUNTY:
---On May 28 an Eastern Phoebe was reported by John Rawinski at
Wright-Schriver SWA near Monte Vista.  This is the first county
record of Eastern Phoebe in Rio Grande County.

SEDGWICK COUNTY:
---On May 28 at Sand Draw SWA, David Dowell reported 5 Red-headed
Woodpeckers and ALDER FLYCATCHER.
---On May 27 Joey Kellner reported Snowy and Piping Plover together on the
sandy "beach" at the end of the dame at the SE "Corner"
of Jumbo Reservoir.  Joey reported that the place if fulll of campers for
the holiday weekend.

WASHINGTON COUNTY:
---On May 29 at Akron Golf Course, Steve Larson and Glenn Walbek reported
Red-headed Woodpecker, Northern Waterthrush and MOURNING WARBLER.
---On May 25 at Prewitt Reservoir Inlet Canal, Norm Lewis reported 6
Red-headed Woodpeckers and a Magnolia Warbler.

WELD COUNTY:
---On May 31 at Crow Valley CG, Steve Mlodinow reported Yellow-throated
Vireo, Least Flycatcher and Northern Parula.
---On May 29 at Crow Valley CG, Glenn Walbek and Steve Larson reported
Red-headed Woodpecker and Yellow-throated Vireo on east side.
---On May 23 a Hooded Warbler was reported by Nick Moore at Eaton Cemetery.
---On May 23, a Bell's Vireo was reported by Nick Moore at Crow Valley
Campground.
---On May 20 a Caspian Tern was reported by Gwen Moore at Firestone Gravel
Pits.  On May 22 a Caspian Tern was reported by Bill Fink at Firestone
Gravel Pits.  On May 28 Cheryl Teuton reported 5 Caspian Terns at Firestone
Gravel Pits.  On May 29, 2 Caspian Terns were reported by Glenn Walbek,
Steve Larson, and Steve Mlodinow.

YUMA COUNTY:
---On May 29 at Sandy Bluffs State Trust Lands and SWA, David Dowell
reported 7 Red-headed Woodpeckers, ALDER FLYCATCHER, 2 Great Crested
Flycatchers, Northern Waterthrush, and 2 Baltimore Orioles.
---On May 25 at Beecher Island, Dean Shoup reported 3 Red-headed
Woodpeckers and an ALDER FLYCATCHER.
