Heil Valley Ranch contains diverse foothills birds, from Wild Turkeys to flocks of Pygmy Nuthatches. We’ll likely see Western Tanagers, Western Wood Pewees, Steller’s Jays, Virginia’s Warblers, Brown Creepers, 2 species of Bluebirds, empidonax flycatchers, and perhaps Dusky Grouse. The lovely tufted Abert’s Squirrels can be encountered. Meet at the upper parking lot at the trail head. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
