Yesterday I found 4 Gunnison Sage-Grouse on Rd 26, Sappinero Mesa Road. They were seen in two separate sightings: the first one was a single bird flushed about a quarter mile off of Rd 26 on Rd 3014c, the second one 3 flushed birds on Rd 26 at mile 6.
I also saw a male Townsend’s Warbler in a stand of conifers and aspen near Rd 3014b at the 5 mile marker on Rd 26.
