John Stump and I birded the Cattails Golf Course in Alamosa late this afternoon. For some time we watched an American Redstart, female or juvenile, that he has observed there for almost a week. It is in the company of Wilson's Warblers in a riparian area of the course's north greens, a place called Cougar Woods by local birders. Three Soras were observed close by and American Goldfinch, Common Yellowthroat and Song Sparrow were heard.
