ADAMS COUNTY:
---On September 11 at Rocky Mt Arsenal NWR, Pablo Quezada reported Cassin's
Kingbird.
---On September 9 a Northern Waterthrush was banded by Meredith McBurney at
the Barr Lake Banding Station.
---On September 8 a Great Crested Flycatcher was banded by Meredith
McBurney at the Barr Lake Banding Station.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
---On September 11 2 Lewis's Woodpeckers were reported by Jared Del Rosso
on the High Line Canal Trail in Marjorie Perry Nature Preserve in Greenwood
Village.
---On September 10, Loch Kilpatrick reported Gray Flycatcher, 3
Chestnut-collared Longspurs, and 2 McCown's Longspurs on US 36 W of Last
Chance.
---On September 10, Gene Rutherford reporte 6 Chestnut-collared Longspurs
and 2 McCown's Longspurs on US 36 and Calhoun Byers Rd.
---On September 6, Gene Rutherford reported 2 McCown's Longspurs at playa
on CR 185 (Calboun Byers Rd).
---On September 6, Gene Rutherford and Loch Kilpatrick reported 3
Chestnut-collared Lonspurs at playas on Calhoun Byers Rd.
---On September 2, Cheri Phillips reported Buff-breasted Sandpiper at
Quincy Rd and Exmore Road south of Byers.  On September 3, Loch Kilpatrick
refound the Buff-breasted Sandpiper at  Byers Playa (west of CR 181 on
Quincy Rd).  Many Birders saw the Buff-breasted Sandpiper on September 3.
On September 4, Tom Behnfield reported that the Buff-breasted Sandpiper
continues at Byers Playa and several birders have seen it.  On September 5,
Mark Minner-Lee reported Buff-breasted Sandpiper W of CR 181 and N of CR 34
which is not Byers Playa.

BENT COUNTY:
---On September 13, Duane Nelson reported a male RUBY-THROATED HUMMINGBIRD
is visiting him feeder in Las Animas.

centurytel.net.  Duane Nelson reported that the RUBY-THROATED HUMMINGBIRD
returned on September 14.  On September 14, Adam Vesely reporte
RUBY-THROATED HUMMINGBIRD in Las Animas.
---On September 8, Dan Stringer reported a CANADA WARBLER at Hasty CG on
the N border near east end.
---On September 8, Duane Nelson reported a CANADA WARBLER was visiting his
yard in Las Animas.  If you would like

---On September 7 at Van's Grove, Duane Nelson reported Chestnut-sided
Warbler.
---On September 7 at "Clayton Point" reached by CR 20 access poin on CR jj
working south and east, Duane Nelson reported Piping Plover and a handful
of Snowy Plovers.
---On September 7 at Hasty CG, Duane Nelson reported Great Crested
Flycatcher.
---On September  7 a Magnolia Warbler was reported by Duane Nelson W of CR
35 and S of Ft Lyon Canal.
---On September 3 at Lake Hasty CG, Brandon Percival reported Great Crested
Flycatcher and Baltimore Oriole.
---On September 3 at Melody Tempel Grove, Brandon Percival reported Great
Crested Flycatcher.

BOULDER COUNTY:
---On September 14 a Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Jeff Parks flying
over the South Mesa Trail in  Boulder.
---On September 13 a Gray Flycatcher was reported by Bill Kamepfer at Smith
Park in Boulder.
---On September 11 a Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Peter Burke flying
over University of Colorado Main Campus in  Boulder.
---On September 2 a Carolina Wren was reported by Jack Bushong at
Warembourg Open Space in Louisville.  On September 3 Chris Rurik reported
Carolina Wren at Waremboug Open Space.
---On September 2, 2 juv Red-headed Woodpeckers were reported by Thomas
Heinrich at Heil Ranch by old ranch buildings by Cattle guard.

CHEYENNE COUNTY:
---On September 3, a Pine Warbler was reported by David Dowel in Cheyenne
Wells.

CLEAR CREEK COUNTY:
---On September 5 at Mt Evans Groundhog Flat, Austin Schuver reported
Nashville Warbler.
---On September 1 at Echo Lake, David Howell reported 11 Barrow's
Goldeneyes and f Williamson's Sapsucker.

DOUGLAS COUNTY:
---On September 14 a Lesser Black-backed Gull and Cassin's Kingbird were
reported by Mark Minner-lee at Marina Sandspit at Chatfield SP.
---On September 13 a Caspian Tern was reported by David Suddjian by the
original Heronry Overlook at Chatfield SP.
---On September 7 a juv Jaerger was reported by Brian Johnson at Chatfield.
---On September 3, Joey Kellner reported a juv LITTLE GULL at Chatfield SP
at Plum Creek Delta and Roxburough Cove.  It was best seen from Marina
Sandsplit.  Many Birders got to see the LITTLE GULL on September 3.  On
September 4, Joey Kellner reported that the LITTLE GULL continues at
Chatfield in the same area and many birders have been able to see it.  On
September 5, Steve Stachowiak reported that the LITTLE GULL continues at
Chatfield and many birders saw it.

EL PASO COUNTY:
---On Septmeber 14 a Magnolia Warbler was banded By Laura-Marie Koitsch at
Chico Basin.
---On September 8 a m CANADA WARBLER was banded at Chico Basin Ranch (fee
Area) as reported by Laura-Marie Koitsch.
---On September 12 at Big Johnson, Mark Peterson reported Red-necked Grebe
and Pacific Loon.  On September 13, Kyle Hawley, Mel Goff, Gary Koehn,
Aaron Driscoll, Leonard Lake and David Tonessen reported Red-necked Grebe
and Mel Goff, Leonard Lake, and David Tonessen reported Pacific Loon at Big
Johnson.  On September 14, a Pacific Loon was reported by Mel Goff at Big
Johnson.  On September 14, Adam Vesely reported  Red-necked Grebe and
Pacific Loon at Big Johnson.
---On September 5, Laura-Marie Koitsch reported that a Bell's Vireo was
banded at Chico Basin Ranch and on September 3 a Great Crested Flycatcher
was banded.
---On September 4 at Chico Basin Ranch (fee area), Jeannie Mitchell
reported Red-headed Woodpecker and 4 Curve-billed Thrashers.  On September
5 at Chico Basin Ranch (fee area), Monday Birders reported Gray Flycatcher
and 6 Curve-billed Thrashers.  On September 14 at Chico Basin Ranch Frank
Farrel reported Curve-billed Thrasher.
---On September 2 at Chico Basin Ranch (fee area), Kyle Hawley reported
Red-headed Woodpecker, Great Crested Flycatcher, Cassin's Kingbird,
Curve-billed Thrasher, 2 Sage Thrashers, and Palm Warbler.  On September
11, Renee Casias reported Curve-billed Thrasher at Chico Basin Ranch.
---On August 28 a Black-throated Gray Warbler was reported by David
Tonnessen at Kettle Lakes.
---On August 11 at Clear Spring Ranch, Steve Brown reported that he banded
a Northern Waterthrush.  On August 13, Steve Brown banded a second Northern
Waterthrush.  On August 17, Steve Brown banded 2 more Northern
Waterthrush.  On August 21, Steve Brown reported that he banded another
hatch year Northern Waterthrush.  On August 22, Monday Birders reported
Gray Flycatcher and Northern Waterthrush at Clear Spring Ranch and Steve
Brown reported banding another Northern Waterthrush.  On August 24, Steve
Brown reported banding 3 more Northern Waterthrush.  On August 26, Steve
Brown reported banding 2 more Northern Waterthrush at Clear Spring Ranch.
On August 27, Steve Brown reported banding 2 more Northern Waterthrush at
Clear Spring Ranch.  On August 29, Steve Brown banded another Northern
Waterthrush at Clear Spring Ranch.  On September 4, Steve Brown reported
banding a hatch year Northern Waterthrush at Clear Spring Ranch.  On
September 5, Steve Brown reported banding another Northern Waterthrush at
Clear Spring Ranch.  On September 7, Steve Brown reported banding Northern
Waterthrush #19 at Clear Spring Ranch.

GARFIELD COUNTY:
---On September 3 a Black Phoebe was reported by Rob Norville at Silt
Island Park on the bridge on the south side of the park.

JACKSON COUNTY:
---On September 12 at Arapaho NWR Auto Loop, Bob Friedrichs reported
Mountain Plover and Chestnut-collared Longspur.  On September 14 a Mountain
Plover was reported by David Griffin at Arapaho NWR Auto Loop.

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
---On September 13 a Caspian Tern was reported by David Suddjian by
Kingfisher Bridge at Chatfield SP.

KIT CARSON COUNTY:
---On September 6, Glenn Walbek and Mark Peterson reported Blue-headed
Vireo and Northern Waterthrush in Bethune.
---On September 5, Glenn Walbek reported 15 Buff-breasted Sandpipers and
Red-headed Woodpecker near Burlington, E of CR 56 and N of CR N.
---On September 1, Glenn Walbek reported Mountain Plover, Black-throated
Green Warbler, and Baltimore Oriole on CR N east of CR 57.

KIOWA COUNTY:
---On September 3 at Neenoshe Reservoir, Brandon Percival reported imm
YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON and Great Crested Flycatcher.

LA PLATA COUNTY:
---On September 4, Susan Allerton reported Northern Waterthrush, m
Blackpoll Warbler, and m Summer Tanager on Animas River Trail behind 4
Corners Riversports.

LARIMER COUNTY:
---On September 13 a Blackburnian Warbler was reported by David Wade at
Prospect Ponds SE parking lot.
---On September 12 Andy  Bankert reported Least Flycatcher and McCown's
Longspur at Timnath Reservoir and David Wade reported Caspian Tern.
---On September 11 a Buff-breasted Sandpiper was reported by Jack Bushong
at Timnath Reservoir.
---On September 5 a Mallard (Mexican) was reported by Nick Komar at
Horseshoe Reservoir.

LOGAN COUNTY:
---On September 4 a Philadelphia Vireo was reported by Bill Kaempfer at
Prewitt Reservoir.
---On September 2 at Jumbo Reservoir, Dan Stringer reported Ruddy Turnstone.

MESA COUNTY:
---On September 6 at Horsethief Canyon SWA, Mike Henwood reported 3
Northern Waterthrush.  On September 7, Denise and Mark Vollmar reported 2
Northern Waterthrush at Horsethief Canyon SWA.  On September 8 Dave and
Diane Trappett reported 2 Northern Waterthrush at Horesthief Canyon SWA.
On September 12, JoAnn Riggle and Ron Lambeth reporter Northern Waterthrush
at Horsethief Canyon SWA and Lambeth also reported Nashville Warbler.

MONTEZUMA COUNTY:
---On September 1 a Gray Vireo was reported by Craig Rasmussen at Wetherill
Mesa at Mesa Verde NP.

MONTROSE COUNTY:
---On September 4 a NEOTROPIC CORMORANT was reported by Sandy  Beranich at
Baldridge and Ute Parks in Montrose.

MORGAN COUNTY:
---On September 13 a Lesser Black-backed Gull was reported by David Dowell
at Jackson Reservoir.
---On September 10, Glenn Walbek reorted 3 Red-headed Woodpeckers, Least
Flycathcer, Gray Flycatcher and Ovenbird at Rd W.7 and CR 33 N of Hillrose.
---On September 8 at Jackson Reservoir, Steve Mlodinow reported 2 Caspian
Terns, 5 Red-headed Woodpeckers, 2 Least Flycatchers, and a Blackpoll
Warbler.

OTERO COUNTY:
---On September 3 a Green Heron was reported by Brandon Percival at Rocky
Ford SWA.

PHILLIPS COUNTY:
---On September 5 at Holyoke City Park, Kathy Mihm Dunning reported Great
Crested Flycatcher.

PROWERS COUNTY:
---On September 13 a Broad-winged Hawk and 3 Northern Cardinals were

Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar.  On September 7 and 9 at Fairmount Cemetery in
Lamar, Janeal Thompson reported a Pine Warbler.
---On September 3 a Tennessee Warbler was reported by Jill Smith at Willow
Creek in Lamar.

PUEBLO COUNTY:
---On September 13 Brandon Percival reported Northern Waterthrush and Black
Phoebe at Valco Ponds/Rock Canyon and on September 14, Brandon Percival
reported 2 Northern Waterthrush, Black Phoebe, Cassin's Kingbird, and
Mexican Duck
---On September 9 at Pueblo Reservoir Sailboard Launch Area, Brandon
Percival reported Red-necked Grebe.

Crow Valley CG and N of USFS Wrok Cednter on CR 77 just S of GR 96..
---On September 12 a juv YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was reported by Steve
Mlodinow and Nick Moore at Baxter Lake which is e of WCR1 (County Line Rd)
at the intersection with Wilfred S of Berthoud.  Park on Wilfred and walk.
---On September 11 a Greater Roadrunner was reported by Dan Stringer on CR
43 just N of CR 42 near a small cemetery.
---On September 10, David Blue and Greg Wann reported juv Red-headed
Woodpecker and 2 Gray Flycatchers at Crow Valley CG.  On September 11, Adam
Vesely, Art Hudak, Mark Chavez, and Tom Behnfield reported 2 juv Red-headed
Woodpeckers and Gray Flycatcher at Crow Valley CG.  On September 13, Dave
Leatherman reported Red-headed Woodpecker at Crow Valley CG.
