Hey COBirders, It has been pretty quiet banding at Clear Spring Ranch this week - several warblers and sparrows before 7:15, then pretty much dead for the rest of the morning. Today I caught and banded a Hatch Year Least Flycatcher (FOS) at 7:15, then it went dead again, ….until another large flock of Chipping Sparrows arrived about 9:30.
39 birds banded today, with 30 CHSP, 2 Wilson’s, 2 Orange-crowneds, a Lincoln’s, a Catbird, and the LEFL, et. al. Maybe tomorrow….
