Hello all - I was out with the dogs Friday morning in our neighborhood park (Keewayden Meadows Park in Boulder) when I saw a large flock of Common Grackle move through. This was not unusual, since I have seen them in the neighborhood a few times in the last month or so. They moved through fairly quickly, but shortly thereafter, a small flock of Bushtit moved through the trees. I counted twenty, give or take, and spotted a couple of Black-Capped Chickadees in the group as well. It was pretty amazing, I have seen the occasional Bushtit over the summer, but never more than one or two at a time. They didn't stick around very long, but it was a sight to see while it lasted.
