The adult Scissor-tailed Flycatcher continues this morning in Larimer
County
along north U.S. Hwy 287 at the same spot about 1 mile north of Ted's Place
(junction of U.S. 287 and Colo. Hwy 14). I first spotted the bird on the
south
side of the road in the low wet area along the highway in front of the
lumber
company. After just 2-3 minutes, it flew across the road and perched on
the fence along the wetland area on the north side of the road. I managed a
couple of long-distance photos. It seems to like the wet areas for foraging.
