Stopped by the reservoir around 5pm. Noticed three distinct,dark birds near the dam. Just as I got the scope set up, they started to head out of sight around the dam. Distinct white patches on the face, one by the bill, one behind the eyes. Mark confirmed this identification about 15 minutes later.
