A male *Long-eared Owl* was calling for a while this evening from Massey Draw near my home in Ken Caryl Valley. This is the first time I've heard the species in the immediate area of my home, although I have had Long-eared in the hills within 2-3 miles west of my home, and once at the Lyons hogback to the east.
