I believe the Pueblo Reservoir CBC total for yesterday is at 103 species, plus at least 10 count week birds so far. Quite snowy, cold, and steam on the reservoir kept the species total down from the last few years. No new birds for count were found. The number of helpers were down, because of the weather as well. Thanks to everyone who helped, including several from out of town! We had a nice compilation party as usual at the compiler Mark Yaeger's Art Gallery. We haven't had a snowy and very cold Pueblo Reservoir CBC in a while. I believe we missed Western Meadowlark for the first time on this count. The numbers have been dropping on the count for the last few years.
