Hi birders,

A small ever changing group of birders saw the purple sandpiper early this
afternoon at the area adjacent to the parking lot on the east side of Highway 9
south of Frisco and north of Swan Mountain Rd. At times the bird was behind
rocks or snow banks, but seemed to stay near the creek mouth, even when a
rambunctious family arrived mere yards from the bird. It did move farther east
temporarily, but did not flush, fortunately.
