Interesting thread. I hadn't seen many Eurasian Collated Doves (aka the B-52s) 
around my yard lately. Around Thanksgiving they started appearing. Usually a 
pair; sometimes 3 or 4. Yesterday I was out in the backyard and started hearing 
the whooo-whooo-whooo calls. Lo and behold, they were not only whooo-ing, but 
making whoopie in  the junipers as well. I think there are the beginnings of a 
nest there too. Ah, Winter.
