Indian Tree Golf Course (Jefferson County) was 30 minutes from my house in heavy traffic today. I arrived at 4:45 in quickly fading light, but was able to locate the Brant and Greater White-fronted Goose and get a few photos. Thanks for the Post Doug, and thanks to the nice lady who pulled up as I was getting out of my car and said "they're right there in that flock!"
Here are a couple of photos of the Brant. It was my best view ever of a beautiful bird! <https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-P4-KwZr55-g/WIq6iTRoEUI/AAAAAAAAAss/g9sZMw9lHKo-uUVEYgrwPhaHE0cUkh-vQCLcB/s1600/Black%2BBrant%2B2.jpg> <https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-CZeaIWVqLqs/WIq6QLYmT2I/AAAAAAAAAso/fvebO0bZ-ok6O_4VeyhKrDDdJGS9i_bRwCLcB/s1600/Black%2BBrant%2B4.jpg> On Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 3:46:18 PM UTC-7, Doug Faulkner wrote: > > Hello all, > > A brant and greater white-fronted goose are currently at the Indian Tree > Golf Course on Wadsworth north of 72nd Ave, Arvada, Jefferson County.
