Stopped briefly at the small pond on 109th Street and Boulder Creek this morning. Two male Blue-winged Teal were on the pond, but flew as I watched. At Panama Reservoir #1, Ted Floyd’s Horned Grebes (52) were still present. Some were in winter plumage while others were sporting breeding plumage. Among the many Common Mergansers were 6 Red-breasted Mergansers.
