Stopped briefly at the small pond on 109th Street and Boulder Creek this 
morning. Two male Blue-winged Teal were on the pond, but flew as I watched.
At Panama Reservoir #1, Ted Floyd’s Horned Grebes (52) were still present. Some 
were in winter plumage while others were sporting breeding plumage. Among the 
many Common Mergansers were 6 Red-breasted Mergansers.
