A Carolina Wren that has been around Pueblo since 2016, has starting singing again. It is well east of Pueblo City Park, along the south side of the Arkansas River. It was seen both today, and yesterday. Also, yesterday there was a Winter Wren again in this area. These birds are no where near Lake Pueblo State Park and Rock Canyon Picnic Area, so if there is another Carolina Wren singing there yesterday, that is certainly a different bird.
Other birds of interest I heard about, around Pueblo this morning, were a Long-tailed Duck and a Black Phoebe . Also, a Red-necked Grebe continues at Pueblo Reservoir at the North Shore Marina. -- Brandon Percival Pueblo West, CO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
