Birders,

The Worm-eating Warbler was present at the Melody Tempel Memorial Bench at Tempel Grove late this morning. If you're lucky, it may be the first bird you see, but it can also be impossible to relocate. It is often close to an adult and an immature White-throated Sparrow.

A word of warning about the weather: The National Weather Service predicts 6 - 12 inches of snow between this evening and early Sunday morning, when the storm finally departs. I have doubts that the early Piping Plover nest at John Martin Reservoir can survive a storm of this magnitude.
