I am a local birder, but do not live near you, so getting together might be difficult. I strongly recommend that you check out Denver Field Ornitholgists at dfo.org. Sign up for some of their many trips that are all excellent. Also go to denveraudubon.org and find the many excellent trips offered by Denver Audubon. There is a CFO convention June 1-5 in Steamboat Springs too. Hope to meet you on a birding trip soon!
