Hi all

Got back last night from the NE USA (Biggest Week OH, Point Pelee ON, and
various places in MI) where highlights include 2 Connecticut Warblers, lots of
other gorgeous warblers etc, dragonflies, a dramatic encounter with a
Massasauga Rattlesnake (no-one hurt and we both left on good terms!) and lots
of nice folks

This morning, Wednesday, at Spring Park reservoir, El Jebel there were 59
Red-necked Phalaropes at 7:30am.. 46 by the dam wall, 10 in the middle of the
reservoir, and 3 in the NE arm. Other birds of interest included at least three
Buffleheads, still scores of Eared Grebes, but I could not locate any other
shorebirds in my brief visit. Viewing only possible from the CR, so a good
spotting scope and no heatwaves are key!

Good birding all

Best wishes
