Nothing brings out people's passions more than a discussion about prairie
dogs! Whether you love or hate them, we share a long and complicated
history. These fascinating rodents have an intricate social system and
share complex relationships with many other species. Our native prairie,
and many of its plants and animals, depend on these charismatic little
burrowers. Learn about their biology, behavior, and ecological importance,
as well as many species that share close ecological relationships with
them. We will also explore our own complex coexistence with them here along
the urban Front Range. These sessions will take place in and near Boulder.

City of Boulder OSMP on prairie dog and grassland conservation and
management issues.
