Cobirders, At around 5:30 this evening, while looking for the Redstart and Gray Flycatcher Dave Ely reported earlier, I heard and then saw a Veery that was on the other side of the creek. It was actively feeding both near the ground as well as in the mid-canopy of the cottonwoods. It was up with a large flock of Cedar Waxwings. I'm not used to seeing Veery feed so high up.
The bird was singing intermittently, which could be heard over the raging creek. Good birding, Peter >From Peter's iPhone -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
