Continued to be slow today, although we had more variety, which made it
interesting for the many visitors participating in the Barr Lake Birding
Festival today. Here's a breakdown of the 18 birds banded today:

Mourning Dove 1
Cassin's Vireo 1
House Wren 1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
Orange-crowned Warbler 1
Yellow Warbler 1
Townsend's Warbler 1
Common Yellowthroat 1
Wilson's Warbler 9
Song Sparrow 1

Come visit! We are open 6 days per week (CLOSED Mondays), weather
permitting, through October 15. We are opening nets at 6:30 and should have
birds back at the station before 7:30. We will close most days by about
11:30, earlier now when it is so hot. School groups arrive most weekdays at
about 9:30.
