Hey COBirders,

A slow, misty day banding at Clear Spring Ranch today, but the late fall birds
are starting to make an appearance; 2 Ruby-crowned Kinglets, and 2 adult
Gambell’s White-crowned Sparrows were banded today, (and more Wilson’s Warblers
and Chipping Sparrows).

Bird of the day was a juv Eastern Phoebe that flirted with the nets for 15
minutes, but managed not to be netted. Close views and lotsa tail bobbing (but
the camera was in the car staying dry!)

Stay Dry,

Steve Brown
