Paul, Scooter, and I were pleasantly surprised to find an adult Green Heron on the South side of Wahatoya Lake this morning.
La Veta Trails has been creating some new trails at Wahatoya Lake and it is now fairly easy to walk all the way around the lake. They have also been doing pretty regular maintenance of the trail at Daigre Lake. There is still a steep spot in one area but even with my injury I have no problems getting through.
