Red-necked Grebe in NW corner along cattails and Common Loon.  On October
29 at Unon Reservoir, Chris Owens reported Red-necked Grebe.
---On October 31 at CR 33 1 miles south of CR 98 in Nunn, Gary Lefko
reported 2 Lapland Longspurs.
---On October 31 Gary Lefko reported 6 Lapland Longspur at very large
Prairie Dog Colony .5 m north of CR 90 on CR 29.

The DFO Field Trip for Saturday, November 4 will be Scoter Trip led by Joey

Meet at 6:45 am.  From East Denver take 56th Ave east toward Pena Blv,
 First Creek parking lot is just before Pena on your left (north).  Or take
I-70 east to Pena Blvd, dive north to 56rh Ave Exit.  Turn left at the
light and at the bottom of the off ramp, Pass under the highway and turn
right, almost immediately into First Creek parking lot.  Remember to change
your clocks.

The DFO Field Trip for Tuesday, November 7 will be to the Ken Caryl Valley
Area led by David Suddjian (dsuddjian AT gmail.com; 831-713-8659)  This
trip is full.

The DFO Field Trip for Thursday, November 9 will be to Rueter-Hess
Reservoir led by Mary Cay  Burger (mcburger3 AT juno.com; 720-940-8394).
Meet at 0730 at Barr CCC Park, 18964 S Twenty Mile Road, Parker, located on
the SW corner of Main St and 20 Mile Rd for birding ther and later at
Rueter-hess Reservoir, which is open to the public only with entry
permission.  Tim Ryan of Park Waater Dept will be our guide.  Bring a scope
if you have one.
