All, Consensus on this bird is dark Morph juvenile Parasitic. The bird was smaller than the Ring-billed Gulls it was chasing and lacked the girth and larger size associated with Pomarines. The bill did not match Pomarine or Long-tailed as there was black only on the very tip. There were more than two white shafts visible on the top of the primaries in flight and the undersides were very obviously white eliminating Long-tailed. Fun bird to find! Lifer for me and I believe a few others. I had no idea there had been a Red-throated Loon posted earlier at Timnath so it was a happy accident that I was even there in the first place. Luckily, because the loon was posted previously, when I called David Wade to let him know about the jaeger, he and Austin Hess were only 5 minutes away. We were joined by Cole and Heather Wild, Nick Komar, Mike Mcloy and friend JC and Joe Mammoser and Rachel Hopper as I was leaving. The bird stayed far out of decent photo range so I'm not sure anyone got any identifiable photos at all. Maybe this bird will ride out the wind tomorrow and stick around...
