Yep--sometimes scoters do stay for more than a day. Seen yesterday a female
type White-winged Scoter was still present this morning at Lake Beckwith,
Colorado City, SW Pueblo County. Most times scoters here are one day wonders,
so I was happy to see this one again today. It's been hanging out on the west
side of the Lake near a picnic area(benches, tables), & seemingly undisturbed
by a kayaker.
