Late this afternoon two *Wilson's Snipe* surprised me when they flushed up as I walked along Deer Creek near the Hildebrand Ranch parking lot. In fact, they were the *only* birds I noted during 20 minutes there, aside from a party of geese passing over. They flew up one after the other, moving what seemed to be just a short ways upstream, but I could not relocate them.
The *Harris's Sparrow* continued in my Ken Caryl yard near sunrise today.
