Happy New Year all!
May it bring you Health, Happiness and lots of GREAT wildlife sightings!

My highlights of the last week of 2017 of occasional birding hereabouts, often
with Ted Robertson from California, included no dramatic finds but some nice
birds never-the-less
Weather has been unremittingly warm and dry since a quick 8” of snow Christmas
morning. There’s only a little snow in the valleys, but there is just enough
for some half decent skiing on the hills, and it’s not brutally cold like out
east!
