I was outside this afternoon raking and cleaning out garden beds. As I was putting things away I started hearing some peeping call notes that grabbed my attention.
Found them quickly and one even deviated in flight to fly right by my face- then landed in the tree- checked out the suet - didn’t eat- and kept moving. I heard and watched both just move through my yard in 30 seconds or so. Very cool but no pictures.
