Yellow-billed loon and white-wing scoter still on South Platte Park Res as 
of 9am Jan 10

Loon diving in south central area of res, mostly in Arapaho County sections,

though strayed further west a bit likely pushing into Jefferson Cnty a bit.

Scoter was loafing north central, proving nice distant looks on the flat 
morning water.

 

Additionally have been group of 20-30 cedar waxings, in and out around 
Carson Nature Center (Arapaho County ) for the past 2-3 days.

Check the junipers along east side of the nature center and you cottonwoods 
to the north.
