On a recent trip to Bonaire I identified my 500th bird, a
Yellow-shouldered Parrot. Also several other lifers. Bonaire is 40 miles
north of the Venezuelan coast.

Yellow-shouldered Parrot

Troupial

Bare-eyed Pigeon

Brown-throated Parakeet

Common Gallinule

American Flamingo (not a lifer, but the symbol of Bonaire)

Southern Lapwing

White-cheeked Pintail
