Cobirders, I hope you are all making plans for this year's CFO Convention. I believe it is the 55th CFO Convention, but the first to be located in Longmont with its access to plains, prairies, foothills, and mountains. As always the CFO Convention from May 17th to 20th will offer you all sorts of opportunities for fieldtrips, paper sessions, evening entertainment, and a smash-up banquet.
While I don't want to discourage you from attending the CFO Convention, there is some competition that weekend. If you seek something different you might consider the Nebraska Ornithologists Union Spring Meetings at Fort Robinson, Nebraska in the northwest corner of the state on May 18-20. I've attended the last two NOU Meetings and loved the friendly comradery and great birding. If you want more information on the NOU Spring Meetings (or on the NOU in general), please contact Robin Harding, Vice President of the NOU at [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Bill Kaempfer Boulder (with permission from CFO President, David Gillian) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
