The Red-necked Grebe remains as easy as ever to find at Fort Collins City
Park/Sheldon Lake the morning of 3/14/18

But I want to take this moment to say goodbye to the birding community in
this home state of mine. I'm moving to Missouri for good and leaving the
state on Friday. It's been the most amazing time ever discovering the
wonders of birding here, and the birders in Colorado have been the greatest
people I have ever met in my life. Some of my most awesome memories will be
attending the super fun CFO Conventions, the many incredible field trips by
CSU Field Ornithologists with adults my around my age, and annual multi-day
spring adventures to Southeastern Colorado.

Thank you everyone. I will never forget the positive impact the Colorado
birding community has had on me. Wouldn't be much of a happy person without
you all!

Bird on!!
